School Health

Healthy children are happy children.  Happy children learn and form positive relationships with others.  Sudden illnesses can appear without warning and we need to be prepared.

Medication and First Aid

When children require medication to be administered at school, the child’s name and full details must be provided in writing to the school office. When appropriate, medicine is stored in the school’s medicine cabinet. In the event of your child becoming injured or unwell, a staff member will render first aid and parents and caregivers will be contacted.

Please ensure that your contact details and emergency contact details are always up to date. It is important that the office has accurate details of parent and caregiver contact details.

Community Health Nurse

Our Public Health Nurse who visits the school regularly is able to support students and families. Please phone the school office if you wish to arrange a meeting with her.

Dental Clinic

Our dental service is provided by a mobile clinic which visits the school during the school year for a term. Should the need for urgent dental work be required outside of the mobile service, please call 0800TALKTEETH, or telephone the clinic at Greenpark School.
